Slovakia, Estonia and Italy qualified for Women’s WFC 2009

Between 4th and 8th of February the qualification tournament for Women’s WFC 2009 in Sweden was played in Slovenia. For financial reasons the Ukrainian team withdrew from the tournament. Estonia, Italy, Austria, Georgia, Spain, Slovakia and Slovenia took part. Slovakia defeated Estonia 9-4 in the final. The host team of Slovenia lost the bronze match against Italy 3-4. Number one, two and three are qualified for Women’s WFC 2009. So Slovakia, Estonia and Italy can book their tickets to Sweden. For more information visist the organiser’s webpage.
