Last Saturday more than three million people saw floorball on TV in Germany. German entertainer and comedian Stefan Raab played against his guest Oku on a small field with little goals. More than 14000 floorball fans came to Stockholm’s Globen Arena to see the final of the Swedish Championship. A.I.K. Solna defeated Warberg IC. After the third match between SV Wiler-Ersigen and Unihockey Tigers Langnau (Wiler-Ersigen won the series after five matches) we had the opportunity to talk to Ales Zalesny, probably todays best striker from the Czech Republic. He was amongst the strongest players to lead Unihockey Tigers Langnau into the play-off final for the first time ever.

SV Wiler-Ersigen is Swiss Champion for the fifth time after 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008. Wiler-Ersigen won over Tigers Langnau which is from the ‘Emmental’ region, too. SSV Helsinki is Finland’s champion again. SSV won the title after it swept Tapanilan Erä away with three victories in a row.
